Part-Time & Full-Time Certified Nurse Aides, 11pm-7am shift Requirements: -The ability to provide hands-on care to the geriatric population -Activities of daily living -Reporting and charting on tasks and behaviors through use of Electronic Charting Methods -Ability to push/pull/lift 35lbs -Standing, walking, bending, lifting arms above head, twisting, at times maintaining awkward positions in the care of residents -Dressing, bathing, feeding, transporting residents using medical devices and lifts *Nurse Aide MUST have completed a certified training course and be eligible to test and become a CERTIFIED NURSE AIDE within 120 days of employment (or already be certified in the state of Michigan). **Successful candidates are qualified to be re-paid for the price of the Nurse Aide class and testing after 90 days of successful employment. Less than 20 hrs/week Dietary Aide, Varying Hours as Needed Requirements: -Provide quality food and beverages to residents, visitors, employees, and apartment tenants -Assist cook with food preparation -Ensure proper safety and sanitation guidelines are used in the food service department and dining rooms -Ability to maintain, clean, and sanitize work environment -Must be able to lift 30 lbs -Ability to follow instructions from cook/food service supervisor for preparation and service of foods -Ability to check menus and diet spreadsheets -Ability to demonstrate portion control and appropriate items for meal and snack service Part-Time or Less than 20hrs/week Environmental Services Aide (Housekeeping), 8am-4pm shift Requirements: -Perform daily housekeeping, laundry/linen -Mopping, vacuuming, spot cleaning, shampooing, bed washing, restroom cleaning, dusting, washing walls, washing window screen & wheelchairs -Receiving, sorting, transporting, collecting, distributing, re-labeling, maintaining serviceability and minor mending of laundry/linen -Work with chemicals and use personal protection equipment daily -Must be able to read labels and follow directions -Must be able to physically complete all aspects of the job including standing, kneeling, stooping, squatting, twisting, and bending -Must be able to safely/properly use a step stool, reach over head, and be able to frequently move, lift, or transfer up to 35 lbs. -Expected to work weekends and holidays Full-Time Personal Care Attendant, 3-11pm shift Requirements: -The ability to provide hands-on care to the geriatric population -Activities of daily living -Reporting and charting on tasks and behaviors through use of Electronic Charting Methods -Ability to push/pull/lift 35lbs -Standing, walking, bending, lifting arms above head, twisting, at times maintaining awkward positions in the care of residents -Dressing, bathing, feeding, transporting residents using medical devices and lifts -Certification as a Nurse Aide NOT required, though assistance/compensation may be available if candidate chooses to pursue certification
