Credentials: Registered Nurse for 28 years with experience working in both the Acute Care and Long Term Care setting. Marlene has experience as an Orthopedic Nurse, Public Health Nurse, Home Health and Hospice Nurse. She earned and Associate Degree R.N. from Bay De Noc Community College in 1983 and obtained certification as a Hospice and Palliative Care Nurse from 2001 to 2005. Marlene has been employed at the Bishop Noa Home since 2003 initially as a Charge Nurse, then Supervisor, Resident Care Coordinator and currently as R.N. Admissions Coordinator.

Job Responsibilities: As the R.N. Admission Coordinator she works closely with families, discharge planners, social workers, physicians and home health agencies to obtain medical/insurance information regarding referrals for admission to the Bishop Noa Home.
