My mother worked in health care all of her professional career.  She mentored, trained and educated countless individuals in nutrition and food management.  In her passing I was looking for a way to show appreciation to the staff at Bishop Noa for the exceptional care they provided for her and her parents.  I have established the Elizabeth A. Zuehlke Educational Fund at Bishop Noa Home in her memory. This is a first in the history of Bishop Noa Home that a fund has been established that will directly benefit the employees.  Our mission: “To assist in providing continuing education to Bishop Noa Home employees to further their knowledge, competency and advancement in providing exceptional care”. The fund resides at Bishop Noa Home.  It is available to employees through an application process.  It is part of our mission that when employees learn they give back to their coworkers. If you are looking for ways to show appreciation to the staff for the exceptional care your family member has received or how they have helped you and your family through transitional care this could be another opportunity. All donations that are specified to the Educational Fund will directly support staff education opportunities. All donations will be handled with care and respect.  Your name will be entered in our donors list or if you wish to remain anonymous we will respect your wishes.  We are planning a newsletter so donors can see how their generosity directly effects the staff at Bishop Noa. If you need additional information, please call the office or refer to the Bishop Noa Home website for instruction on how to donate. Thank you, Chuck Zuehlke and the Staff at Bishop Noa
