Credentials:  Licensed Nursing Home Administrator, in the state of Michigan since 2001, working as an Administrator in both Nursing Home and Home for the Aged settings. Member of the Health Care Association of Michigan(HCAM); Member of the Michigan Center for Assisted Living(MCAL). Prior to becoming an Administrator, Elsie received her Associate Degree in Nursing from Jamestown Community College in New York State and had worked as a Registered Nurse in various capacities for over 30 years; specifically in the long term care setting for the past 20 years. Elsie has been employed by the Bishop Noa Home since the beginning of 2008. Job Responsibilities: Responsible for directing and supervising the overall operation of the entire Bishop Noa Home Senior Community, remaining consistent with the policies, procedures, and mission statement of the Bishop Noa Home. While Michigan’s regulations are a main focus of her responsibility, the resident’s everyday life is her main focus.
